So, here’s some baby info, for those interested. I think we’re having a girl (but keep in mind that I was convinced Lincoln was a girl until the very moment I saw he wasn’t) because I have not gotten the Puppps rash this time (Thank You, God!), the heart rate has averaged slightly More >

Baby: Imminent

We’re one week from the due date (already past some of your guesses). Nicole would be fine with a delivery any day now. We haven’t yet decorated the nursery, but we figure our baby probably won’t care too much. Who knows, maybe there is still time?

It’s a baby! (The important kind!)

  • Lincoln Quotes

"Mommy, You are my princess. Now I can feed you?"

Mark asked Lincoln to help clean up the toys in the living room. Lincoln looked in there and said,
    "Woof-woof's not a toy, he's a friend!"

Lincoln looking out our deck door, "God, where are you?"

Lincoln measured me with his tape measure. I asked him how tall I was, and he said, "Big and a half!"

Lincoln looking for Mark while they played hide-and-seek: "Where is my friend Daddy?"

    "It's Zero O'clock! That's a good time for lunch!"

We've been telling Lincoln he is a "growing-up boy." Today he said, "Mommy, you a grown-up. I am a growing-up."

"Daddy, I did a hokey little pokey song!"

While tapping his cheek with his finger: "I'm thinking with my finger. That's what you do sometimes, Mommy."

As I looked in my recipe box: "What are you gonna figure out to eat for dinner?"

"Look at all those boogies! Mommy, you need a kleenex?"

    That's 'mazing, Mommy!

Mark: "What did God make on day 2?"
Lincoln: "Clouds and the number 2."

"Cinnamon holes with rolling doughs!" (i.e. Cinnamon rolls with rolling pins).

    "Mommy, Cora's squeakin' again!"

"I cheesed the camera!" (after smiling for a picture).

Lincoln: "Mommy, I ate you!" Me: "What did I taste like?" Lincoln: "Chocolate!"

"Hey buddy Daddy. Hey babe Mommy."

    "How you goin', Buddy Mommy?"

"Daddy, will Cora be a boy when she grows up?"

Lincoln noted that he and Cora both drink milk. Nicole says that he drinks milk from a cow. Lincoln says, "Mommy, you a cow."

Lincoln, what do you think about your sister Cora? "Her pretty good."

Nicole said her tummy hurts. Lincoln said, "You need gas."

Lincoln said, "Lincoln work." Nicole asked where. "At the airport office." Nicole asked what he did. "Push buttons."

Mark accelerated briskly. Lincoln said, "Whoah, whoah! Whoah.... race car."

Lincoln tried Nicole's root beer. "Whoah, spicy tart-juice!"

Lincoln praying: "Dear Dod, dear Dod, dear Dod. Amen".
